"I thought that the test was appropriate for the class. I had trouble with a couple of small things but overall I found it to be a fair test, that tested us accurately on the processes we were tought throughout the class"

"The test wasn't so hard. It was fair and definitely put our minds to use rather than simple regurgetation of facts. Also, we really need to do a musical about Mike Jones. I think Ticar knows what I'm walking about."

"I agree with the fact that the test was fair. Everything we were tested on were concepts we had been taught. However, I was surprised that we weren't given more time because we had so much information that we had to write."

"I think the test was pretty fair. I also thought there was more than enough time to write it in. I mean, if the question is worth four marks, all you need is four points not four paragraphs."

"I think we should have given more time to do test, I was kind of rushing my way through the essay at the end cause time was running out. The test took me longer then i thought, but the format was suprising to me, very unique."

"Needed more time, indeed, but the material however was very appropriate. The final question was definitely intriguing. Served as a proper question whilst also offering the chance to voice our feedback on this tool; two birds, one test question."

"This test was a fair articulation of all concepts discussed in class. I felt it was pretty straight-forward and a great representation and summation of the redesign of a technological artifact"

"I think it is a fair test. It pretty much covers all the major points throughout the course, yet it gives us a chance to apply what we have learned to a project so that we can explain our ideas well. The essay is open enough that everybody has something to say. Of course, the more theories and experiences you have on this course, the deeper your essay will be. It's a nice experience to have taken this course."

"I thought the test was fair - nothing was on it that we weren't prepped for. Time was of the essence, and it could have been more organized in the exam distribution process, but other than that, it wasn't too horrible. What's this about a song about Mike Jones?"

I feel that the test was a comprehensive account of the material covered troughout the course. The question on the wiki was a little bit expected almost? and maybe the question could have targetted more detailed things rather than an open ended essay kind of thing because I think that that would test our knowledge on the subject. However, that is only one side of it. On the other side asking the open ended question that you gave helped some people really challenge their mind to apply the theories that you gave in class instead of just restating them word for word. Its a tradeoff and it depends on what you feel is more important. I tink that developing an argument is very important but mentioning theories etc should add to their marking.
I have written you exam for 300 before so I was kind of aware of the format.
I really like the way you test, and I hope you continue to test this way in the future.
